  The first is a pair of books authored by Francis French and Colin Burgess: Into that Silent Sea, about NASA’s work leading up to Apollo, and In the .   The French author was forced to publish her works under the ‘nom de plume’ (French for pen name!) of George in order to begin actually making money off of her works. At the time, women as writers were generally looked down upon, and Sand found herself really struggling to be paid and recognized justly.

The anthology covers an impressive breadth of the genre as well: the earliest story represented is (Update: Wells’ story is the earliest) H.G. Needless to say, I read a lot of fantasy and science fiction in French, so I thought I would share some of the most common fantasy/science fiction vocabulary I’ve come across in my reading.

Well I love like all of theses books (Gone books are my favorite). And even though i am 13 and i have read all the Gone books (Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, and fear) multiple times i still would not recommend them for 13 year old.
